Collection: Reflections in light

In this collection, I explore the intersection of color, light, and space through acrylic on plexiglass. By combining vibrant, saturated pigments with transparent surfaces, I create works that are simultaneously bold and ethereal. The transparency allows the background to interact with the painted forms, making the environment and light part of the artwork itself.

In some pieces, I work with multiple layers of plexiglass, carefully building depth and allowing shadows, reflections, and overlapping forms to emerge. I also play with the shadows cast by the painted forms, letting them become an active part of the artwork and extend the composition beyond the surface. This layering transforms the flat plane into a three-dimensional experience, where each angle offers a new perspective and the painted colors float in space.

The collection is an exploration of perception, movement, and energy. The interplay of vibrant color against transparency creates a sense of presence and immediacy, while the shadows and layered planes invite contemplation, encouraging the viewer to engage with the work from multiple viewpoints. Translucent Vibrance celebrates the dialogue between color, light, shadow, and dimensionality, offering a unique visual and spatial experience.
